Here you can see my tattoos applied before they started to peel off. I was wondering whether it was the help of my assitant that may have caused this and that she did not wet them enough. They were sponged with a small amount of a orange tone foundation to tone down the black and give it a blue hint.

For the teeth I used Ben NYE nicotene tooth enamel around the roots of the teeth to make them look really rotten!

Overall I was really unhappy with my paint job, it needs a lot of improvement. I feel like I went too heavy with the colours, they needed to be much more translucent and less red around the eyes and eye brows.

For the filming day I wanted to be extremely organised so that everything went smoothly. I felt nervous for the application, but this only helped me to stay focused. My model arrived at 6:30am. I had already prepared my work station with all of the prosthetics and materials I needed. I had an assitant on the day, Chloe Griffin, who was there to help me apply the tattoos. I showed Chloe my designs and we discussed the placement of the transfers and the technique I was using before any application started. I began with the bald cap applying with telesis 7 as I needed a strong adhesive to last the whole day of filming. I felt like I applied the bald cap a little too low so I ended up having a visible edge as it was too close to his eyebrow to try and disguise. I tried to blend this in with the colour application. I have used photoshop in the final editing stage to smooth this over.

I was overall really happy with the facial prosthetics, one critisism I would make is the cap plastic being slightly too thick, or the alcohol I was using was not strong enough. I recently read on a makeup forum that different brands of alcohol can react differently, this made me think the alcohol may have been the problem here. There ended up to be excess bits of cap plastic on the face which was difficult to remove all of. For this look it actually went well with making breaking down the skin tone and adding some texture to it so it was not my main concern.

The look of the location fitted perfectly with my character. There was a lot of glass, wallpaper, smashed objects, all elements I felt could take attention away from my character but after seeing the final images I think the setting works really well

I made sure to give the film crew a little direction of how I wanted the film to look and what I wanted Lukaz to be doing. They had a lot of opinions and suggestions of what to do, which I was happy to take on board. We worked well together as a team, and although I felt the film was a little too edited with colours etc, the piece worked really well
